How to get Subsidy on Solar Panel Systems by State Governments in India.

Subsidy on Solar Panel Systems

Various state governments in India with the help of MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy) provide the subsidy to their residents for buying rooftop solar power plants. The Indian Government has released a priority list for processing subsidy claims. Schools, public institutions, etc are higher up on the priority list and residential projects are lowest in priority list. And thus getting subsidy on residential projects is getting increasingly difficult.

But State Governments still provides subsidy to their residents for solar systems. You can visit their renewable energy department (given below) to avail the benefit of the subsidy. We had done extensive research on various schemes for solar energy on renewable energy departments of various states. Here is compilation of all subsidies along with state renewable energy dept. website.
